Providing care to injured, ill and orphaned wildlife in Northeast Ohio since 2025.
We are here for wildlife.
Our mission is to rehabilitate—and ultimately release—injured, ill and orphaned native wildlife species and foster awareness and appreciation of our local wildlife. Through public education on strategies for coexisting with wildlife, natural history and conservation, we create connections to grow respect and care for our wild neighbors.

We get it: Animals are cute and folks want to help. However, please note it is illegal to rehabilitate, raise or care for native wildlife without a state-issued permit. If you find a wild animal in need of assistance, please contact Heights Wildlife Center or another licensed wildlife rehabilitator as soon as possible. All rescue and rehabilitation work at Heights Wildlife Center is done by licensed professionals under Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife wildlife rehabilitation permit #31815R.
